Harrybill and Cleo
Fisherman's Story ...
Harrybill, do you remember playing doctor on me and cutting a fish hook from my head on one of our fishing trips? And the trips to Skaggs Hospital to get other hooks removed? We had many good fishing trips.

It is a great pleasure to know Cleo and Harrybill. They are wonderful, caring people and I count it a privilege to know them.

Fifty years together, that's quite an accomplishment.

We have know Cleo and Harrybill since Ted began working at BNB. And we have lots of memories of our times together in the UNB Investment Club. Remember all those good meals, esp. those at Annabell's.

Cleo and Harrybill are such nice people, whom we have enjoyed knowing. We don't see them very often now, but when we do we always enjoy them.

Best wishes to them and their family as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Congratulations.

ANNIVERSARY WISHES FOR TWO SPECIAL FRIENDS

Dear Harrybill & Cleo
What a joy to call you our friends, both of you are such special people. God has truly blessed us by bringing you into our lives. Memories are so many in these few short years,we have known each other. The building of the church(so much work but such good fellowship). The sharing of garden goodies, the phone calls and prayers during illness and ruff times. The good fellowship times with wonderful food. Children and grandchildren (pictures ) to share. The thoughtfulness and caring you show for each other is reflected in the warmth you share with your friends. So as we celebrate your anniversary, we celebrate our friendship too. You two are an inspiration the way you've worked together to make your marriage special.

We wish for you many more happy years together,

God Bless you both.
HAPPY 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Charlie & Ruth Reed

Happy Anniversary, Harrybill and Cleo! We are so thrilled to see this great website honoring your 50 years of marriage. I remember like it was yesterday when Harrybill and his buddies came out ot Idaho to visit their Aunt Norva & Uncle Boyd Forsling and Aunt Lourie & Uncle Ansel Cates. I was about 10 years old and I thought those fellows were the handsomest hunks I had ever seen! They all teased me and told me about their girlfriends back in Missouri.

Harrybill was already in love with Cleo, as I remember. I remember thinking what a grand couple they were then, and how darling they were together. I feel just the same about them now!

We hope your special day turns out just perfect!

I will try and send some pictures of Granny Forsling's 90th birthday party and of our big family who were all there for it.

Love, Janet and Glenn Enke

Special Friends

It seems that,at least with us,"Harrybill and Cleo" is almost always spoken as one name or person. That realization says a lot about two special friends.

Always caring, always generous, always gracious and given to hospitality, we've dug, and enjoyed, their sweet potatoes, picked their apples and pears, and have been privileged to enjoy many sumptuous feast in fellowship gatherings in their home.

They are truly a blessing to all who know them, their church, their friends, and especially us. How they blessed us as they worked to make both our 45th and 50th anniversary such a special time for us. We have so, so many good memories that it is hard to single out one or two to include here, but one that speaks to this occasion is the time Harrybill said with tenderness in his voice as we watched Cleo walk away from us, "I really love her. I don't know what I would do without her."

Well, Harrybill and Cleo, we really love you and our life has truly been blessed in knowing you these past 13 or 14 years. God bless you as you share many, many more years together.

Dear Harrybill & Cleo,

Congradulations, received your invitation to your celebration. We thank you but will be unable to attend. We have a committment to a golf tournament in Natchez,Ms.

I enjoyed our visit at the reunion as I always do. I thank you for your work in making those days so special. Kay is sorry she didn't get to come this year.

Its hard to believe that you two have been married fifty years. I didn't think we were that old but Kay reminds me we have six months before our fiftieth.

Once again Congradutaions to two very special people. We will try and make it to your 75th. May God Bless.

Your friends,

Neil & Kay Turner

To our dear friends, Harrybill & Cleo:

We became acquainted in high school at Ava, Missouri. Many things happened during our school days; then as we graduated our lives took different turns of being in the Armed Services, getting married, and having a family with two boys, Dennis & Doug, while you had the two girls.

We were even neighbors for a while, living on East Page in Springfield, Missouri, with Harrybill & Souder both working at Kraft. Both of us moved, and we didn't see each other very much until we began to become involved in trying to spice up our 1950 Class Alumni parties. I suppose that the one we'll always remember-we hope-was our 50th reunion in 2000, when Harrybill dressed up as Priscilla and Souder was ClaraBell; that production was the life of the party.

We have had wonderful times in our homes. We have quite a tradition of celebrating the birthdays of our group: Wanda & Nick Carras', Dorlene House's, Mildred Watson's, and ours. It is a priviledge to be able to help you celebrate your 50th anniversary.

Best Wishes for many years to come.
Souder & JoAnn Livingston

I first met Cleo, August 26, 1996 as I came to work for CNB. Cleo made me feel very comfortable in my new position. As the years have passed and we have worked together much closer, I have found Cleo to be a true friend and a truly wonderful person to be around. I feel good that some people confuse us as apparently we look somewhat alike, (poor Cleo). I got to really know Harry bill when I transferred to Glenstone 4 years ago, and I think he is really a pretty terrific person. I would say as couples go on a scale of 1 to 10 they are probably a 10.
It's a pleasure knowing them both.

Much Love to Both,
Pat Matthews

Cleo and Harrybill,

Congratulations on your 50th wedding anniversary. We have enjoyed your friendship for many years. -- All our birthday and anniversary dinners we?ve spent together – and so many fun times at your home.

I especially remember my birthday when Larry was in the hospital with heart surgery, you brought me a dozen roses. Larry and I were both so concerned about the surgery we forgot it was my birthday. So you really made it special.

Thanks again for your wonderful friendship.

Larry and Saundra

I have know Harrybill all of my life since he is 4 months older. I have so many memories of our childhood. We lived in a tent way out in the woods when we were 2 years old. Our dads were cutting posts and one time when our mothers and we three children were sitting on the river bank, a dust storm came up and almost blew Harrybill and I into the river. Later we lived in Oakley Idaho and watched Indians ride by as we sat on our porch. Then of course there was our time at the old Jess Apartments in South City. We were there on Dec 7, 1941. These are only a few things to remember. I will add more as time goes on. Also I will send pictures (when I can get to them packed in our back storage room)

George and I wish you the happiest of anniversary's and look forward to your 75th.
